A peculiar piece of armor. The crest of a strange religion. The edges are scuffed and worn, as if it has been slid into a frame several times. The crest depicts a great bullet falling from the sky, surrounded by prostrate Gundead figures.

Description
Old Crest is a passive item found in a special room in the Oubliette .
Effects
- Grants a piece of armor.
- This piece of armor will always appear at the end of the health bar, and is destroyed upon taking damage.
- Picking up regular armor before or after the Old Crest will move the Old Crest forward, making it impossible to protect it with armor.
- The Old Crest can be protected by
Full Metal Jacket .
- Can be placed on an altar in the Gungeon Proper , which will reveal stairs leading to the Abbey of the True Gun .
- The player will receive one regular piece of armor as replacement.

- Cannot be dropped.
- Self-damage from
Cigarettes will destroy Old Crest.
- Losing a heart container through effects like Shrines , dropping a
Master Round , or consuming enough 
Spice will not destroy Old Crest.
- Cannot be stolen by the Resourceful Rat because it is on a pedestal.
- On the Google Stadia version of the game, it is possible for multiple Old Crests to generate.
- Picking the Old Crest up on the
Bullet gives a slight attack power buff.
