Lower Case r is a gun that fires a burst of 6 bullets that spell out the word BULLET. While firing, the gun will voice out the word "bullet".

Bomb , the gun becomes a capital letter R and transforms into a one shot rocket launcher. It fires the word ROCKET with cloud sprites when shot, and creates a cartoony BOOM cloud when it hits something.

Angry Bullets , the words LOSER, DORK, CHUMP, NOODLE, and TAFFER are spelled out.

- The voice that says the words shot by the gun out loud belongs to Doseone , the game's composer.
- The reload animation consists of deleting the letter, through use of backspace, and typing a new one.
- Lower Case r's bullets leave behind the word BLAM!! whenever they hit something.
- This could be a reference to old ASCII Adventure games, where letters would commonly be used to represent items, pickups, and weapons based on their visual similarities.
- The pickup quote "Alphabetical!" could be a reference to Finn from Adventure Time exclaiming "Mathematical!"
- The word "TAFFER" which can be fired with Angry Bullets is a reference to the same word used as an insult by guards in Thief: The Dark Project .
- The synergy Radiant may be a visual pun referencing Radiant Silvergun .
- With the
Lich's Eye Bullets , only the Just In Case synergy will be active
- The synergy Just In Case transforms this item into the Upper Case R , originally intended to be its own gun, which has its own unused Ammonomicon entry. This is what it says: The uppercase version of the letter r. Although the uppercase version of the r character does not resemble a gun, the space between the two lower markings does create a kind of chute shape, and chute sounds a lot like shoot. The rest is obvious.
- Excepting Hacker and Just In Case , the names of all of Lower Case r's synergies begin with the letter R.
- The words “Booyakasha” and “Cowabunga” in the “Replete” synergy are Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles references.
