Magic Lamp is a gun . Hitting an enemy three times causes a genie to punch them, dealing extremely high damage.

Synergies

Sweetness and Light:

If the player also has Magic SweetMagic Sweet , Magic Lamp fires three projectiles at a time. The shots deal 25% of their original damage, but the genie deals full damage.

Notes

  • Magic Lamp is effective with passive items that makes it fire extra projectiles, such as ScattershotScattershot and Helix BulletsHelix Bullets , as genie damage is unaffected by these items.
  • With the synergy and used with the Super Hot WatchSuper Hot Watch , it is possible to repeatedly shoot by switching the Magic Lamp on and off.
  • The flak from Flak BulletsFlak Bullets does not increase the wish counter.

Trivia

  • The Ammonomicon entry is a reference to Disney's Aladdin, where one of the Genie's rules was that he can't kill anybody. The imagery of a muscular spirit that punches its opponents may be a reference to Jojo's Bizarre Adventure where such entities are common.
  • The Sweetness and Light synergy is a reference to an English idiom.
