- The synergy with the Eyepatch is a reference to Kurt Russell as Snake Plissken in the 1981 movie Escape from New York . Snake wears an eyepatch over his left eye and primarily uses a MAC10. 'Iroquois Plissken' is also an alias used by Snake in the Metal Gear series. The character of Snake is heavily based on Snake Plissken, including wearing an eyepatch.
