• Summons one of the following clown-masked familiars. [Wolf] (the clown with the red mouth) will attack enemies close up with a taser, continuously stunning them.
• Houston (the clown with the pink eyelids) will guard the Gungeoneers by occasionally activating mini Blanks that negate enemy bullets.
• Chains (the clown with blue slits over his eyes) wields a shotgun which he will use to attack opponents. Each shotgun pellet does 5 damage.
• If the player carries the [Loot Bag] or [Drill] , an additional familiar will be summoned for each.

• Tea for Two - If the player also has [Teapot] , when reloading [Teapot] , [Wolf] , Houston, and Chains will have a small red aura around them. Every enemy in this aura will be ignited.
• If you unlock one of the Payday 2 items after unlocking the [Coin Crown] , the chance to see the remaining items reverts from 100% to 5%. This reduces the price of the remaining item to its proper value, however.
• The order that the familiars are acquired is random.
• Picking up Clown Mask increases the chance of finding the other Payday 2 items, [Loot Bag] and [Drill] .
• Picking up Clown Mask will replace the Gungeoneer's regular appearance with Dallas, a clown with an American flag mask. It is the only item from the trio to give that cosmetic effect.
• Houston's blanks are affected by Ammolets, so it's a good strategy to buy them from Old Red or Shops .
• The projectiles from Chains's shotgun will be destroyed by the player's blanks.
• If the player is carrying [Loot Bag] or [Drill] with the Clown Mask and drops either of these items, a familiar will be lost until the item is picked up again.
• The mask replaces the paradox effect.
• If duplicates of this item are somehow obtained, further summons more clown allies. The order of the clowns appearing when collecting the item goes: Chains , [Wolf] , and Houston .
• However, once the three clowns are obtained, no more will spawn if further duplicates are collected.
• Chains shot gun bullets will be affected by bullet upgrades like frost bullets, but not scatter shot.
